Morgan has a pinching issue with other kids and I don't know what to do. I put her in time out and talk to her about it every time and I have pinched her once so she knows how it feels but those things don't seem to be helping. Any suggestions?
Man that is a hard one. I wish I could give you some ideas on what could work. The only thing I can think of is a time out when she does it. Good luck.
Typically kids do this (similar to biting) for attention. Make sure she knows it hurts, and walk away from her. Give her absolutely no attention. Definitely do not pinch back because doing that basically shows that it's "ok" (mommy does it too).
I am Kelli. Wife. Mother. Real Estate Agent. Home Stager. Furniture Refinisher. Runner. Aspiring Writer. You name it, I probably want to be it. I love, love, love real estate and one day I want to be a full time investor (debt free) focusing on remodeling and decorating houses. Having owned 6 properties in 6 years, I think I know what not to do (and a little of what to do).
