Park Day!

We love going to the park.  This was the last time before it snowed.  The girls had a wonderful time.  Soph loves the swings and Mo loves everything!

Morgan's Pink Room

After our Hawaii vacation Morgan chose to stay at grandma's house for a few days and get a ride home with Nana who was coming for Thanksgiving.  While Morgan was gone I decided to surprise her by changing her room to her favorite color -- pink.  She had been asking for pink walls.  Normally I would never paint a room pink but it was her life's dream to have a pink room so I painted during Sophie's naps and nighttime.  Morgan LOVED the surprise.  The pictures are lacking, but here it is.

The resort had a private beach so when we weren't exploring the island or swimming in the pools we were at the beach.

The kids collected their daily wrist bands.  Morgan had quite a few at the end of the vacation.

Goofy's Pool Party

Sophie's 1st Birthday

We started the day by hiking Diamond Head Crater.  It took about an hour and a half round trip and the kids did great (which means minor complaining).  

We had refreshing shave ice after the hike.  

Then we did the Maunawili Falls hike, aka the hike through the mud.  And there was a lot of complaining.  This one took about 3 hours and it was pretty hard with kids but we finished!  Mari wasn't impressed with it.  At all.  

Morgan was all tuckered out after two major hikes.
