Number of days we were gone... 11.
Temperature to which the heat was set... 67.
Having a warm, empty house for 1/3 of the month... priceless.
(Next time we leave we will not forget to turn the heat down to 50)

Wow, that is a big one. My question is how can you stay warm at 67. I am such a wuss I guess. We live where its not even that cold and I keep mine at like 73 and if I knew I could get away without such a large bill it would probably be more like 80. I hate when we leave and forget to turn down the thermostat. The whole time your gone you just think about all that heat going to waste.
Kelli! So good to hear from you! Glad you posted on our blog. How is everything? Looks like things are well. Where in Boise do you live? My wife is from Boise! I was there working at the VA hospital for a year, but came back to NC in June. I'll have to look you up when we get back out that way.
