Well, the bank accepted our offer on the 5,200 sq ft house. Long story short, we decided not to do it. Why? We realized that we would have to upgrade a lot of things to make it the house we want and in the end, it would cost the same as buying what we want.
So here we are, still renting the preforclosure. Our property management company told us that we can live there for free in January and February, then we get kicked out because it goes to auction in March.

That stinks on the house news. When we were looking at houses we thought the same thing. Why buy and older house that you would buy for less but then put in a ton of money when you could just buy a brand new one for practically the same price in the end. Shyanne is so cute. I can not believe she is already 8 years old. Looks like you had a fun Thanksgiving weekend. Will you be in town at all for Christmas. Maybe we will get to see you then.
Too bad about your house, but free rent??!?!!? VERY NICE! In some ways I wish that we would have waited a little longer and rented so we could have saved more. And PS you are NOT showing at all!!! :) Can't wait to hear what you're having! It's sooooo nice to get to that point when you can breath a little easier! LUVS!
