One of the days was dedicated to taking an island tour (given by me) and heading to the Polynesian Cultural Center.

Mo's great at helping Soph smile.

Hawaii Vacation: 1

We were super lucky this year and were invited to go to Hawaii with Mari's family.  They have a Disney timeshare so we stayed at Disney's Aulani resort.  It was so much fun.

The flight over was not so much fun with an almost 1 year old.  She was a lap baby so we "couldn't" take her car seat so she wasn't restrained so she didn't sleep.  But she was free so I really can't complain.

The girls LOVED the resort pools, slides, and splash pad.

We visited Dole Plantation and learned how pineapples are grown.

We went to Matsumoto's Shave Ice, an Oahu North Shore must, and again, they didn't disappoint (we love them "snow capped" or topped with sweetened condensed milk).

Morgan loves to pose, and she owns it.

We had a birthday character breakfast for Tanner and Sophie.  The kids got to meet Mickey, Minney, and Goofey.

Some Painting

Our house is tan and beige.  Very vanilla.  So I decided to add some color to it after I tried different shades of white.

I wrote this little message for Morgan.  Creepy, eh?!  She wasn't impressed.  The first thing she said when she saw it is, "I wanted PINK."

Sorry Mo.  Not your room.

Halloween

I love halloween and Morgan is following in my footsteps.  What's not to love about dressing up and eating junk food?!

We spent the evening with Mari, Lenny, Meg, and Tanner eating candy, gluten-free doughnuts, and trick-or-treating.

This is the church halloween party:
